Above Runners up Captain Brenda Slingo with Doug Morrey On a very pleasant and at least dry evening the match was played in the true spirit of bowls. A large contingent of supporters from both sides watched as the ladies played excellent games, there was praise for good woods from both Sinclair and Wrockwardine Wood, and although the match was quite close Wrockwardine Wood were the Winners on the day or should I say the night. An excellent evening of bowls and thankyou to all the officials and the Referee, and not forgetting the John Maddocks Club whose Green for the time of the year was in fantastic Condition
